Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant surprises and a few challenges. The rooms, although lovely and clean, were on the small side and tended to get too hot at night, making sleep a bit uncomfortable. However, the design and standards were top-notch. The service was exceptional, with hard-working and welcoming staff providing one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long while. The location, although beautiful and rural, felt a bit overpriced for its limited surroundings. The dining experience was excellent, offering plenty of delicious choices, while the facilities were overall satisfactory.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel with clean and comfy rooms, super friendly staff, and a beautiful location surrounded by countryside. The dining experience was a bit hit-or-miss, but overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
The hotel offers lovely, clean rooms designed to high standards, with beautiful countryside views. However, some refurbishment is needed, like the faded curtains and cupboards not staying closed. The service was friendly and hardworking, though not highly trained. The location, in the rural hamlet of Castle Ashby, is peaceful and idyllic, near attractions and the M1 but could be noisy at night. Dining was exceptional, offering freshly cooked dishes ranging from salmon to Eggs Benedict. The facilities were well-maintained and pleasant.
